Joined Tokyo Electric Power Company. After serving as a visiting researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, currently serving as a Professor and Director at the Institute for Smart Society Technology Integration at Waseda University (current position). Also serving as the Chair of IEC SC 8C.
